Current & Upcoming Projects
Maripat Donovan, the creator and star of the wildly successful "Late Nite Catechism" series of shows, which has been touring the country for the last twenty years, is stepping out of her habit and into a brand new interactive comedy: "Ask Mrs. Honey B., Certified Life Coach."
Inspired by her hero, Vince Lombardi, Mrs Honey B (short for Buczkowski) is a no-nonsense disciplinarian, and modern day life coach, whose patent pending "Full Life Flower" method of achieving happiness is derived from a strong foundation, consisting of not only her own life experiences, but her strict upbringing and staunch traditional values. Whether the issue is relationships, parenting, in-laws, sexting or dealing with adult children who boomerang back home, Mrs Honey B will take you back to a time when children knew how to behave, and adults knew how to keep them in line.
As the owner and operator of her own certified Life Coaching School (The Buczkowki Institute), Mrs Honey B is joined by her Life Coach Trainee, Angie Trevertino, a high-energy street-smart girl, who is not shy about giving her own opinions. Angie is played by Denise Fennel, who is well known across the country for having played the title role of "Tina" in Tony n' Tina's Wedding and "Sister" in the Late Nite Catechism series.
So if modern day America leaves you shaking your head thinking "this is not how problems were dealt with when we were young" then you'll appreciate the Honey B approach to problem solving, and at the same time be laughing the night away.
Next engagement is at Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY April 23-26.
